Our Story — ILS Recovery Bureau

ILS Recovery Bureau was founded by people who have experienced the frustration of losing something important — and the helplessness that follows when you don't know who to call or where to look.

The Problem We Saw

Every year, hundreds of millions of items are lost in the United States alone. Transit systems, airports, hotels, and public spaces overflow with unclaimed property. Honest finders want to return items but lack a simple, safe way to reach the owner.

The Solution We Built

A simple QR code creates an instant, permanent link between an item and its owner. No app, no friction — just scan and reconnect. We built the infrastructure: scan alerts, optional location sharing, private messaging, and a community board that turns passive finders into active helpers.

Where We Are Today

ILS Recovery Bureau is preparing to launch its full suite of recovery tools nationwide. Our platform covers dozens of major US cities with local lost & found resources, and our QR tag technology is ready to protect millions of everyday items.
